About the event
The Buddy Cup Tournament is the BGA Tour’s premier team match-play championship, taking place July 24–26 across four rounds at four different courses. Two teams will compete head-to-head over a weekend built on strategy, pressure, and pride. This tournament is designated as an Elevated Event, with all points earned counting for 2× BGA Points toward the season-long standings.
Teams will be drafted by the captains, who will be determined by the top two BGA Points leaders following Event #8. Once selected, teams will face off in four distinct match-play formats, with each round contributing to the overall team score and momentum of the weekend.
The four rounds will be contested at the following courses:
Round 1: Barren River Lake Golf Course
Round 2: Fox Hollow Golf Club
Round 3: Kentucky Hills Golf Course
